Eirene Belk, 2025 - Co-Chair
Eirene Belk, a senior in HTM, is on the team as co-chair of the Career Committee with Grace Canzano. After being the Operations Lead last year, Eirene is ready to leverage her experience and enthusiasm to drive the team's mission forward. In school she works as the HTM Office Assistant and outside she runs a private catering business. In her spare time, Eirene loves to cook, fish, hike, paint, and relax with her cat. Grace Canzano, 2025 - Co-Chair
Grace Canzano is a senior Hospitality and Tourism Management major from Naples, Florida. Grace has volunteered and attended Career Day for all 3 years but this is her first day on the committee and she is so excited to bring her new ideas to this role. As Co-Chair, Grace works alongside Eirene to organize weekly meetings to guide the committees throughout the process of planning and executing Career Day. Outside of career day, Grace keeps busy through her involvement as President of the UMass chapter of Club Management Association of America and the American Hotel and Lodging Association, as well as working as an Isenberg ambassador at school. Kate Johnson, 2026 - Marketing Lead
Kate Johnson is a junior with a double major in Operations & Information Management and Hospitality & Tourism Management. This is Kate’s first year on the committee and she’s so excited to work alongside the other members! As the Marketing Lead, she will provide companies and students with the proper information and tools for the event via the HTMCD social media and other communications. In addition to being on the committee, Kate works as a Lead Event Coordinator for the Fine Arts Center and is the founder of the Student Organ Donation Advocates national chapter at UMass Amherst. Sadie Rogowski, 2027 - Marketing Member
Sadie Rogowski is a sophomore Hospitality & Tourism Management major. This is Sadie's first year on the committee, and she is so excited to help put together and promote Career Day. As a marketing member, Sadie helps to promote the event through various social media platforms. Helping creates the theme posts and save the date posts to ensure the UMass community, and the attending companies have that info. Sadie also is an HTM Ambassador. Virginia Videgaray, 2025 - Marketing Member
Virginia Videgaray Gómez del Campo is a senior Hospitality and Tourism Management student from Mexico City, Mexico. Virginia is returning from her year abroad in Switzerland to the HTM Career Day Committee as part of the Marketing Team, after serving as the Operations and External Relations Bridge during her sophomore year and a Key Volunteer her freshman year. Alongside Kate and Sadie, Virginia helps to promote Career Day through social media platforms and create the materials to communicate the event information to the UMass community and the attending companies. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at events hosted by the University Programming Council at UMass, and also reading, listening to music, and spoiling her three dogs. Jessica Caico, 2027 - Operations Co-Lead
Jessica Caico is a sophomore with a double major in Hospitality & Tourism Management and Italian Studies. This is Jessica’s first year on the committee, and she is thrilled to be a part of this fantastic team while providing amazing opportunities for fellow students. As an Operations Co-Lead, Jessica communicates with donors and catering staff, develops menus for the different events and coordinates day-of volunteering, ensuring smooth operations of the events. In addition to her committee role, Jessica serves as the Meeting Coordinator for the UMass Chapter of the American Hotel and Lodging Association and is an HTM Ambassador. Kate Carroll, 2026 - Operations Co-Lead
Kate Carroll is a junior Hospitality & Tourism Management major with an Economics minor. This is Kate's first year on the committee and she is so excited to work with fellow HTM students to make all our their ideas come to life. As an Operations Co-Lead, she is responsible for cultivating menus, coordinating the event with donors and staff, and executing the event the day of. Kate is also the president of the UMass Women's Rugby Club and an Operations supervisor at the Rec Center on campus. Georgia Davis, 2025 - Operations Co-Lead
Georgia Davis is a senior Hospitality & Tourism Management major. This is Georgia’s first year on the committee, and she is excited to see her vision for the event come to life through collaboration and teamwork. As Operations Co-Lead, she is responsible for cultivating menus, coordinating with donors and catering staff, and leading day-of volunteers. Georgia is also involved in the HTM Ambassadors program and is the teaching assistant for HT-MGT 100. Meredith McCandless, 2025 - External Relations Lead
Meredith McCandless is a senior Hospitality & Tourism Management and Management double major. On campus Meredith is involved in HTM Ambassadors as the Vice President and is the Head TA for the course, Principles of Management. This is Meredith’s first time serving on the committee as the External Relations Lead. In this role she communicates with the businesses coming and helps coordinate the communication between the committee and the recruiters. She and the team also use feedback from past years to create a better experience for both the students and recruiters. Then after Career Day, Rapid Recruiting, and The Reception, she and the team will gather feedback to enhance the experience for next year. Ava Noel, 2027 - External Relations Member
Ava Noel is a current sophomore at UMass Amherst, pursuing a double major in Accounting and Hospitality and Tourism Management. This is Ava’s first year on the committee and she is very excited to gain valuable event-planning experience! As a member of the External Relations team, Ava will be reaching out to company recruiters regarding Career Day, which will ensure students gain valuable industry work opportunities. In addition to Career Day, Ava is also a member of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Association, as well as a member of Operations and Information Management club. Keana Brown, 2026 - Finance Lead
Keana Brown is a junior majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Finance. This is her first year on the HTM Career Day committee, where she serves as the Finance Lead. In this role, Keana manages the budget, tracks expenses, and ensures that financial operations run smoothly for a successful event. She is also the Vice President of the Students of Caribbean Ancestry (SOCA) club on campus, where she helps lead initiatives that celebrate and raise awareness of Caribbean culture.
